Dude, Where's My Car?
A little more detail regarding the time when Rabbi Leo Franklin returned the sedan gifted to him by Henry Ford. The comments, unsurprisingly, provide a frustrating view into current Islamophobic rhetoric, but the article itself provides an interesting parallel between anti-Semitism of Ford's time and the anti-Muslim sentiment today.

Very interesting story. I like the tie in to modern day Islamaphobia but I am not sure the comparison is quite right. Ford published about Jews in general but claimed it to be only against the bad Jews. Islamaphomic statements are meant to be across Islam. And this is shown by statements made by Muslims who do often come out against radical Islam. No, one could not expect a Muslim to agree with a statement that all terrorists are Muslim, but I think one could reasonably expect a Muslim to agree with a statement that radical Islamist extremists do not share their point of views, nor profess the Islam they live by. In the same way that had Henry Ford been writing about the early 20th century versions of Bernie Maydof and Jack Abramoff and not about Jews as a whole, I might agree with what he had to say.
