New Contest: Why Is It Ethical To Eat Meat?
No joke, today's the first day of the New York Times "Why It's Ethical To Eat Meat" contest. Judges include Peter Singer, Michael Pollan, Mark Bittman, Jonathan Safran Foer and Andrew Light. The rules are pretty simple: "Don’t tell us why you like meat, why organic trumps local or why your food is yours to choose. Just tell us why it’s ethical to eat meat."
